Jennifer R. Niesen to Share Insights on Proposed TTB Labeling Rules and Regulatory Considerations in Mergers & Acquisitions in Two Webinars

Christopoulos Dickens’ Senior Associate Jennifer R. Niesen will lead two upcoming presentations on legal considerations in the beverage alcohol industry. One will examine developments in alcohol labeling regulations and the other will discuss regulatory considerations in mergers and acquisitions transactions when regulated products are involved.

On Wednesday, May 21 at 12 pm CT, Jennifer will join the Women of the Vine & Spirits for a corporate member-exclusive live webinar titled “Labeling Overhaul: Understanding TTB’s Proposed Changes.” During this session, she will break down the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau’s (TTB) proposed labeling requirements, including mandatory “Alcohol Facts” panels and allergen disclosures that would dramatically change alcohol beverage labeling. On Thursday, June 5 at 11 am CT, Jennifer will present a webinar with the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) titled “Navigating Regulatory Landmines in M&A: What to Know When Acquiring Regulated Products.” In this presentation, she will discuss mergers and acquisitions that involve regulated products, highlight strategic considerations throughout the deal process and outline regulatory pitfalls to avoid.
